A: Yes, we do have sales throughout the year and we encourage our customers to take advantage of them. We have our annual Back-to-School sale May 15th thru June 15th. Typically we have a pre-inventory sale in early December and an inventory clearance sale in March.

Q: Do you offer alterations?
A: We do offer alterations in our store.

Q: What can I do about pilling; those little balls of fuzz on sweaters and polyester jumpers?
A: Most pilling is controlled by quality. The quality of the fabric and yarn is the best defense against pilling. Our sweaters and sweater vests are pill proof for the most part. Again, how you care for the garment is equally important. Pilling can be caused by the friction of clothing rubbing against one another in the dryer. To prevent this from occurring, turn items inside out when drying.  DO NOT USE FADRIC SOFTENER OR DRYER SHEETS ON SWEATERS.

Q: Do I have to dry clean or iron the uniforms?
A: No to the dry cleaning for sure! All uniforms are machine wash cold, warm dryer. Ironing seems to be a personal choice. We feel all of our uniforms are basically wrinkle free, but again, it depends on how you care for them. Leaving them in the dryer overnight or for hours will definitely NOT produce a wrinkle free garment.

Q: What do you suggest for kids whose pants need to be hemmed 4 or 5 inches?
A: Our pants have a unique feature that allows them to be hemmed up to 5 inches before needing to taper the leg. This helps in style and cost when you have a child who is thick in the middle, but has yet to get his or her height. You can try a husky size for boys or a half size for girls which is cut shorter in both the inseam and the stride.

Q: Can you fit extra tall students?
A: Yes. For the most part, we have very few students who require sizes unavailable. Our unfinished hem pant is 37" in total length which allows for an inseam of 36 1/2". Most students wear the 30" or 32" inseam. Only those who are over 6'2" tend to need the unfinished hem. Our girl’s pants tend to run long. Some young girls may be able to wear the Girl's sizes, but need to move to Junior Sizes for extra length.

Q: How do I fit my child's clothes for growth?
A: Measure, measure, measure! First, measure your child's waist and if a girl, hips also. Looking at the sizing charts, choose the size which is at least 1/2" larger than the actual measurement. Remember, your child will most likely have to tuck in a shirt or blouse. Take into account if they wear a T-Shirt under their knits or oxfords. Allow clothes to be a little oversized in the fall. We can guarantee they will surely fit by December!

Q: Do your headbands come sized?
A: No, they are all a "one size fits all".

Q: What type of guarantee do you offer on your uniforms?
A: All our garments are guaranteed against manufacturer's defects. We do not guarantee buttons falling off, hems coming out, slide hooks on skorts coming unstitched or shrinkage. All of those defects can be caused by your care of the garment or the manner in which your child gets in and out of the garment. All garments with a manufacturers defect must be returned within 30 days of the start of school or 30 days from the date of purchase.

Q: Do you guarantee the knees of pants against tearing?
A: Our pants are the heaviest, most durable pant on the market and they have double knees. As we all know, boys will be boys and some boys like to slide, crawl and spend a lot of time of their knees. We warranty the knees of our pants against tearing trough the knee reinforcement only.
Q: What size Neck Tie should I buy my son?
A: Young boys in sizes 3 through 6 should wear the 12" tie. Those in sizes 7 through 12 should wear the 16" tie. Boys in sizes 14 and up, including Huskies, normally need the 18" tie.

Q: Do the knits and oxfords come in boys and girls?
A: Yes and No, we carry a "boys" oxford and a “girls” oxford, however the pique knit shirts are truly a gender neutral shirt and are sold unisex for both boys and girls.

Q: What size belt should I buy?
A: Generally, a belt should be one or two sizes larger than the waist of the pants or shorts. If a child wears a Size 10 regular, which is a 25" waist, you would purchase a 26" belt and so on.

Q: Do you carry all the items on your web site all year?
A: Yes, we keep a complete inventory all year. However, it is always best to buy early during the Back-To-School months since inventory becomes depleted in certain sizes each year during the months of July and August. If your school is contracted with our services, we will order any item at any time of the year. Availability will be dependant on the manufacturer's stock.

Q: Do the uniforms keep their color?
A: Yes, we carry only the highest quality school uniforms available therefore insuring durability and color retention. Of course, a lot of fading and discoloration depends on your care of the garments. We do not recommend washing in hot or warm water or drying in a hot dryer. Our knits are colorfast and with proper care will look nice for years. Seeuniform care tips.
